I ordered this battery because Toshiba wants over $100 for their OEM battery and this one is a lot less expensive. I received it super fast (within a couple days) even though I selected free shipping. The packing impressed me (since it is such an inexpensive battery). It was packed inside an antistatic bag with desiccant. The bag was sandwiched between plenty of foam and inside an inner box inside the packing box. For an inexpensive battery, they took a lot of care. They included some instructions on maximizing battery life - some of which were new to me. The battery has a one year warranty and visa doubles the warranty. I charged the battery and like everyone else I have read so far - get about 2 hours on the battery life before recharging. For this price and with the warranty, why pay 5 times that for a Toshiba battery? I was uncertain when I ordered it but am very happy with my decision now. I have only been using it for a week or two but if I find the battery life degrades someday I will update my review.
I bought this replacement battery for my Toshiba Laptop and at first I was very skeptical but after reading the reviews I decided to purchase the replacement. I have had it now for over a month and it works great. I totally recommend this to anyone looking for a replacement battery and for the price I purchased this...I dont think there is a better deal out there.
